More good news for coffee lovers.
Findings from 200 previous studies about coffee have determined drinking coffee can impact our health positively by lowering the risk of premature death, cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease, depression, dementia, some cancers, type 2 diabetes and liver disease, according to a study published in The BMJ British Medical Journal.
Spanish researchers studied 20,000 people and found those who drank up to four cups of coffee a day had a 64% lower risk of death than people who never or rarely drink coffee at all.
Although doctors can’t recommend drinking coffee to improve health just yet, considering there are unknown factors associated with these studies such as what type of coffee people are drinking and why people started to drink it, it’s safe to say drinking coffee impacts the body positively rather than negatively.
